Job Classifications & Levels
Job families in Culpepper Compensation Surveys include a wide range of levels, from entry level individual contributors to top executives,
allowing you to accurately match more of your jobs.
To facilitate accurate job matching, every job is organized into one of six distinct job classifications:
- Executive (3 Levels)
- Management (5 Levels)
- Professional - General (5 Levels)
- Professional - Sales (5 Levels)
- Professional - Scientists (5 Levels)
- Support (4 Levels)
Each job classification has a leveling guide to differentiate employees within the same job family based on organizational impact,
scope of leadership, level of supervision & independent judgment, and skills/experience/education.
Job-Level Combinations
In addition to viewing data for individual job levels within job families, our customizable compensation reports
allow you to view a variety of different combinations of job levels that aggregate data for jobs with similar job levels within a job family.
